Masses of creamy-white blossom in spring are followed by small brown fruits. The glossy dark green leaves reliably turn yellow, orange and red in autumn. As one of the earliest trees to come into leaf and losing them very late, it makes an excellent screen if planted in a row. At maturity this tree will have stored 996kg of Carbon.
