Contoneaster franchetii

Its Grey ovate leaf provides all-year-round leaf cover. In Summer it produces a white flower followed by a great display of Orange Berries in autumn. Incredibly hardy, survived the 2010 winter at its ease, great in windswept areas. Grows happily by the sea. Best planted at 30cm centres. Standard spacing is 45cm.
