Lonicera plieata

Lonicera plieata has been used on recommendation as a Box alternative for the past 10 years. Its leaf shape looks exactly like Box, but it doesn’t get box blight. It also grows faster which is very helpful on windswept sites with poor soil. It makes a very robust hedge at a very affordable price.
